I designed a Little Free Library and took inspiration from a Craftsman-style cottage. With the round accent window, the big bay window-looking door, and the faux siding, it really does look like a little house. There’s a shelf on the inside allowing for a ton of books to be held within. And I even outfitted it with it’s own solar-powered LED lights so that it’s lit up at night. These step-by-step instructions walk you through every step in building this exact library for yourself. I’d say that this is a great project for the intermediate woodworker and would make for a profitable side-hustle if you’re interested in selling them online. Pick up the plans and make one for your neighborhood!
Thanks for visiting The Woodworker's Archive! I run this site in my spare time while studying, as a way to combine my passion for woodworking with my interests in IT and communication. The project is not profitable; it is simply a hobby of mine. If you have found the site useful, please consider supporting it with a small donation to help cover hosting and maintenance costs.
