Anthropologie For Less!

Hey there!  I’m so excited to share my new Anthropologie Inspired Printers Cabinet!

I was smitten with the Anthropologie original I spotted but at a whopping $1,698.00, I knew that I needed to enlist the help of our very talented friend,Ana Whiteto design something similar!

Here are the steps I took to build this baby, withPurebond Plywood, for $200 ~ INCLUDING hinges and pulls!

Frame constructed.  I chose a sheet of 3/4″Purebondin Birch for the entire frame.  I had the nice guys at Home Depot rip the boards down for me which made it much easier to fit into my SUV and cut once I got them home!  We shared why we have pledged to build with PurebondHERE.

Face on the frame.

Of course,Kregmade a huge appearance in this post!  From the frame to the trim, every screw is hidden thanks to myKreg Jig!

I LOVE these hinges!  I also installed them in myPottery Barn Inspired Media Console.  You can get them at Home Depot for $3 per set.  They are very strong and easy to install!

This is the stain I used on this piece!Rust-Oleum Ultimate Wood Stain in Early American.

The color is a new Shanty favorite!  You can find it at Lowe’s.  We also used it on ourShanty Hall Tree Bench!

I found these great pulls onAmazon for $2.38each!  I also got a discounted shipping rate for purchasing 12 ~ whoop!!

Ahhhh I am loving this cabinet under our TV in our bedroom!  It has great storage, I love the stain color and it was only $200!!!  Thanks again to Ana for her awesomeFREE DIY Vintage Printers Cabinet plans!

And, because I love to give good recommendations when I have them, I am so happy to share with all of you DFW locals, PGAV Audio Video Solutions.   Patrick is a close family friend of ours and he did a phenomenal job hiding all of our ugly cords behind our walls!  He has over 20 years of experience in the Audio Video Industry!   If you are interested in having a flat screen mounted, a home theater installed…anthing Audio/Video Related, email him for an estimate at[email protected]and tell him the Shanty Sisters sent you:)

Thanks so much for stopping by!
